With a Ph.D in Archaeology from the Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Dr. Shweta Sinha Deshpande has more than 13 years of experience as an educator, an archaeologist and a ceramic analyst at various archaeological excavations in India. Her doctoral thesis dealt with the study of cultural interactions in Central and Western India during the Third & Second Millennia BC.
She has a consolidated experience of over five years in the teaching profession and has taught at various levels. She was an Assistant Professor at the Yashwant Rao Chavan Academy for Development Administration (YASHADA), Pune. With an area of interest pertaining to Ancient Indian History, she has edited and published scholarly research in various academic journals, and has also presented her papers at national and international conferences.
